Since 1996 the Nova Gorica Music School organises in collaboration with the Arts Centre the Saxophone Players’ International Meeting, summer school, plus an accompanying festival held in and around the city. Part of the Centre's activity is dedicated to the promotion of music education in primary and secondary schools (in cooperation with the Slovene branch of Jeunesses Musicales International).

International cooperation
Apart from the abovementioned international festivals Nova Gorica Arts Centre runs also two cross-border music festivals in collaboration with Italian partners (Feel the Sound of the Places Festival, Royal Court Music International Festival).
