It is organized by by [[Radio-Television Slovenia (RTV Slovenia)]], which also takes care for live TV an radio transmissions. In contrast to other similar festivals, there are only 12 chosen bands appearing on stage, 6 for each category - polka and waltz. While the winning song in each category is chosen by expert jury, the award for the all-round best song is given award by the audience by way of televoting. Besides the prestige, the winners also get to shoot a video for their songs. |
