The portal also offers edited content such as reviews gathered at various on-line media, information on relevant public calls and tenders, and so on. It also enables the aforementioned protagonists to publish their events, discounts, etc. There are also lists of awarded and best-selling books, as well as the most borrowed books as according to the libraries. All of this is intended for use by the professional public as well as those just plainly interested in reading.
A partner project to Bližjiknjigi.si is the Revije.si portal, which serves as a central point for magazines dealing with culture in general.
