Konzorcij is Ljubljana's largest bookstore. Located in the centre of the town, it incorporates various departments: children's books, reference books, humanities, social and natural sciences, languages and literature. Literature and reference books are available here in various languages, and books by Slovene authors in foreign languages may also be purchased. It is also possible to order books or periodicals from abroad. Konzorcij organises various book presentations featuring guest authors and its large department for arts and culture has organised many international events. Together with other cultural institutions, Konzorcij also organises the annual Bologna after Bologna (children's books) and Frankfurt after Frankfurt (adult books) exhibitions.

See also two specialised bookstores: Trubar's Antiquariat and Oxford Centre Bookstore.
