Each year the Festival introduces a theme presented by a guest curator. In 2008 and 2009 it is curated by Domenico Quaranta (respectively titled For God's Sake! and Once Upon a Time in the West). Around 230 works, divided into graphics, animations, and interactive art and music, are presented in competition at the Nova Gorica City Gallery. The festival also features lectures, demonstrations and club evenings, which constitute a colourful addition to the programme.
