In 2010, when Ljubljana was the World Book Capital, the fair was titled "Stars of East Asia on the Slovene Sky" and celebrated Japanese and Korean literature and the academic publications from the field of sinology and Japanology at the Department of Asian Studies at the Faculty of Arts.
The focus of the 2011 edition of the fair was Romance languages (Romanian, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, etc.). The Department of Romance Languages and Literature was instrumental in organising the many accompanying events under the moniker "Romance Old New World".
"Magical Slavic Lands" was the title of the 2012 Liber.ac, which showcased the literary and cultural creativity of Slavic nations. It also presented two exhibitions: "Slavic Philologies through Time" and "Slovene Women in the Age of the Slovene Modern Movement". It was organised with the help of the Department of Slavistics.
