Za:misel Bookshop (za-misel = "after-thought") focuses on social sciences and humanities reference literature and books about arts and culture, especially the ones sought by students. It was established in the framework of KIBLA Multimedia Centre in Maribor in 1998. In the online bookshop one can browse through book titles and contents and order books to be delivered. The bookshop also offers the possibility of online ordering of books, CDs and DVDs from abroad.

Za:misel Bookshop organises numerous literary events, book presentations, interviews and author discussions. In addition to Slovene authors such as Milan Dekleva, Feri Lainšček, Boris Pahor, and Tomaž Šalamun, the bookstore has welcomed international guests such as Alan Macfarlane, Toby Litt, Miljenko Jergović, Mia Couto, Balasubramanyan, and Andrzej Stasiuk.
