Bukla (from the colloquial Slovenian term for "a book") is a "magazine on good books and multimedia" published by UMco since 2005. The magazine presents book news from domestic and foreign literature, social sciences, natural sciences, poetry, professional literary magazines, children's and youth literature, manuals and all other novelties related to books. It puts outstanding authors and book collections and other literary creators under the spotlight. Slovene cultural experts also write about new books and what they read, also pointing to trends in publishing and book production.

Bukla promotes reading projects. It cooperates with experts in the field of youth literature and reading, also participates in the promotion of bibliopedagogical activities of libraries, bookstores and publishing houses as well as of the activities of the Slovene Section of IBBY.

The magazine is available in more than 250 locations around Slovenia.
