Activities and projects
Its main activities concern: the Balkan Popular Music Conference, held in Ljubljana in November 1996 and the Popular Music and National Culture Conference held in Ljubljana in 2000; the archival CD series Arhefon of Slovene popular and other music; a series of lectures by its members and guest lecturers, the last was held in February 2010 by Anthony McCann on the topic of copyright controversy in Ireland.
In May 2010, the society founded an internet music magazine NovaMuska.org (roughly transliterated as: "Nu Muzik"), built on the ashes of the defunct bi-monthly music magazine Muska, previously published by Glasbena mladina Slovenije.
