The MKDC venue (originally called Youth Cultural Work Centre) was established in the late 1980s with a focus on the heavy metal scene, today the MKDC Postojna also includes jazz concerts in its programme. It co-organises the Trnje Festival in partnership with Pivka House of Culture, and participates as one of the venues of Klubski maraton (Radio Študent).
