The union runs two publishing projects: since 1999 the school magazine Primorska Sozvočja is regularly published. Written by music teachers, it covers concerts, musicological debates, the history of individual music schools, reviews of concerts and competitions, and interviews with composers, soloists and the like. The union has also released the score collection Trobila, which consists compositions for solo brass instruments and chamber groups.
Second international festival of young flute players Flavtistra took place in Music School Koper in November 2012. It aims at networking and sharing experiences of young musicians at workshops, presentations, concerts and exhibitions,
