Art club & cafe Wetrinsky opened its doors during the last days of 2016. Stationed in the premises of the Vetrinjski dvor mansion, the place was only sporadically used until a crew which also runs the Salon of Applied Arts made a fully fledged bar and club of it. It is possibly the only club of this sort currently operating in Maribor.

Open between Monday and Sunday, the place is in a way a joint project by the social enterprise called PERON cooperative and the Vetrinjski dvor.

Programme

Wetrinsky place runs a very varied programme of music (from alter rock to club electronica), talks, slam poetry and dancing.

To give a glimpse of the musical directions Wetrinsky is persuading one can name the beats producer & trombonist Žiga Murko, the pianist Bowrain, the rock titans Demolition Group, the hip hop MC N'Toko, the upcoming rockers Persons from Porlock, experimental guitarist Domen Gnezda and the psychedelic, Belgrade based art-rock collective Halftones; all of them are but a part of the artists invited during the first two months of the club.
