    Slovenia will be present at the festival with a projection of Slovenian-Czech-Croatian-Serbian coproduction "Block 5 - Igrišča ne damo". The children's film is wrdirected by Klemen Dvornik, and features Kaja Zabret, Kaja Šuštar, Marko Mandič, Gregor Zorc in main roles. The film has been made with support from Slovenian Film Centre and European Comission Eurimages programme, and includes a multimedia campaign by creative studio Trampolin, #GibanjeZaMlade (#MovementForYouth), promoting the importance of moving and socialising for young people.

    Several Slovenian films will be included in the programme. "Shooting Blanks - Poslednji heroj" by Žiga Virc and Iza Strehar is a Slovenian-Greek-Croatian-Italian coproduction. In the category of student film, two Slovenian productions will be included: "Juvies - Domčani" by Jure Štern and "Last Day of Spring - Zadnji dan pomladi" by Jan Krevatin.     "Family Therapy - Odrešitev za začetnike" by director Sonja Prosenc is an international coproduction, supported by Slovenian Film Centre, Viba Film Studio, Italian Ministry of Culture and Friuli-Venezia Giulia Film Comission, and Creative Europe programme. Collaborating on the project were also Norway, Croatia, and Serbia.

    The film has been chosen as one among ten winners of International Narrative Competition of the Tribeca festival and will be shown for the first time at the festival, followed by multiple projections on Broadway.

    This year's short film competition selection will be featuring Slovene minority production, "The Man Who Could Not Remain Silent - Mož, ki ni mogel molčati" by director Nebojša Slijepčević, coproduced by Les Films Norfolk, Contrast Films and Boštjan Virc of Studio Virc.

    Slovenian Film Centre will be presenting itself in the scope of SEE Pavilion, as well as presenting two new Slovenian productions: "Family Therapy - Odrešitev za začetnike" by Sonja Prosenc and "Cent'anni" by Maja Doroteja Prelog.

    All three films presented in Cannes have been made with the support of Slovenian Film Centre.

    The 10th Days of Slovenian Film in Belgrade will present a number of contemporary Slovenian films and classics. Several directors and actors will also be in attendance. This year's Days will open with two photography exhibits: one documenting the previous Days and the other showcasing the work of photographer Irena Herak, who documented the Days in 2016. A notable event is also the meeting of students of Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television (AGRFT) in Ljubljana and students of Belgrade's Faculty of Dramatic Arts.

    The event is supported by Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia Belgrade and organised by Slovenian Film Centre, Slovene Society Slava Beograd, Faculty of Philology Belgrade and Yugoslav Film Archive.
