KULA Journal is a biannual online publication launched in 2008 by the Slovene Ethnological and Anthropological Association in an effort to establish conceptual ties between ethnology, cultural/social anthropology, and other related disciplines.

The journal publishes the contributions of students of the Department of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology at the University of Ljubljana as well as those of professionals and acclaimed academics from Slovenia and abroad. The languages of the publication are Slovenian, English, Serbian, Croatian, and Macedonian.

Each issue is themed, with past issues bearing such titles as The Spectral Analysis of Gender, The Will to Power, Tito – Old Icon in New Contexts, Cultural Heritage of the Past for a Better Future, and The Reality of Imagined Spaces.
