EKumba is an online database of the Centre for Theatre and Film Studies, Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television (AGRFT) where one can browse through and search complete archives of the AGRFT Videotheque, the Film and Television Department Archive and the Centre's main Archive. It is conceived as a multimedia catalogue of theatre and cinema related materials which can be accessed also by a general public. All the materials are meant just for personal use.

Special Collections

The online database eKumba also includes informations on several collections of special interest. For some of them the materials are being collected from the year 1946 when the Academy of Acting (predecessor of the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television (AGRFT)) was established. The oldest is the collection that includes materials (from esseys to doctoral dissertations, manuscripts, sketches of sets and costumes, photographies, etc.) about the artistic, research and pedagogical work of the AGRFT. One of the oldest is also the collection that preserves documents on Slovene partisan theatres during the second world war.
