Kinoklub Vič is one of Ljubljana's commercially oriented cinemas and it remains the only cinema hall in the center of Ljubljana owned by Kolosej Cinemas (it once owned 7 cinemas). In 2005, when its owner opened a multiplex in the suburbs of Ljubljana, Kinoklub Vič changed its programme policy (previously it was named Vič cinema): it became a kind of "art" cinema among commercial ones since it began to screen also independent, European and "arty" Hollywood films. It is also a venue for various film events and festivals such as the Ljubljana International Film Festival (LIFFe).
Kinoklub Vič auditorium has 345 seats and screens films on 35mm prints. It is equipped with various sound systems (DTS, Dolby Digital, Dolby SR, etc.). There is a bar in the cinema entrance hall. The cinema hall is available for rent.
