Cultural Contact Point Slovenia
Cultural Contact Point Slovenia (CCP Slovenia) is the national information office for the Culture Programme of the European Commission. Established in 2002 within the SCCA-Ljubljana Centre for Contemporary Arts, CCP Slovenia is supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia and the Directorate-General for Education and Culture of the European Commission.

Activity
As a national information office for the Culture Programme (the EU programme supporting international arts and cultural projects with a European dimension; previously called Culture 2000 and Culture 2000-2007) CCP Slovenia is responsible for the promotion of the programme on the national level, and for dissemination and exchange of information related to the implementation of the programme; it provides assistance in searching for partner organisations and offers technical support for users. It organises seminars and workshops throughout Slovenia and maintains a website (incl. the database of supported projects featuring Slovene producers since 2000).
Projects
CCP Slovenia conceives also topical public events regarding the EU cultural policy and funding opportunities. In 2009 it organised the international forum Culture and Structural Funds? in order to emphasise the importance of culture while implementing the European cohesion policy with guests from Austria, Croatia, Hungary and Slovenia.
