Activity

As a national information office for the Culture Programme (the EU programme supporting international arts and cultural projects with a European dimension; previously called Culture 2000 and Culture 2000-2007) CCP Slovenia is responsible for the promotion of the programme on the national level, and for dissemination and exchange of information related to the implementation of the programme; it provides assistance in searching for partner organisations and offers technical support for users. It organises seminars and workshops throughout Slovenia and maintains a website (incl. the database of supported projects featuring Slovene producers since 2000).

Projects

CCP Slovenia conceives also topical public events regarding the EU cultural policy and funding opportunities. In 2009 it organised the international forum Culture and Structural Funds? in order to emphasise the importance of culture while implementing the European cohesion policy with guests from Austria, Croatia, Hungary and Slovenia.

International cooperation

Apart from the basic activity (facilitating partner search for the participation in the Culture Programme) CCP Slovenia actively participates in the CCP Network. In the frame of the Slovene EU presidency in 2008 it organised the international conference Re-network on rethinking the networking in culture.
