The White Aphroid Award was an award series that ran from 2016 to 2019 under the umbrella of Risk Change, an interdisciplinary arts, education and audience development project led and coordinated by KIBLA Multimedia Centre in Maribor. The project, which received nearly EUR 1.6 million in funding from Creative Europe, was also supported by the Slovenian Ministry of Culture and the City of Maribor.
