In the final period of Creative Europe (2021–2027), before the implementation of the AgoraEU funding programme for the cultural and creative sectors, this is an opportune moment to reflect on the experiences, achievements, and shifts that international collaboration in European projects has brought to Slovenian organisations. The Creative Europe Ambassadors, coming from various organisations and creative sectors but united by their commitment to active engagement in the international arena, have generously shared their extensive experience and perspectives. These varied contributions highlight the specific trajectories of individual organisations while also offering deeper insights into the development of artistic practices, institutional models, and the cultural ecosystem in Slovenia.

In the performing arts, we spoke with Alma R. Selimović from Bunker Institute, and Barbara Poček and Inga Remeta from Glej Theatre. Blaž Gregorin from Invida shares his perspective on cross-sectoral, technology-driven projects, while Urša Strehar Benčina and Bjanka Kršmanc from Pionirski dom reflect on cultural education and youth participation. The audiovisual and film sector is represented by Tanja Hladnik from Kino Otok Festival and Marina Gumzi from Nosorogi film studio. V zaključnem obdobju Ustvarjalne Evrope (2021–2027) in pred vzpostavitvijo AgoraEU, programa financiranja za kulturne in ustvarjalne sektorje, je pravi trenutek, da se ozremo nazaj na izkušnje, dosežke in premike, ki jih je mednarodno sodelovanje v evropskih projektih omogočilo slovenskim organizacijam. Ambasadorji Ustvarjalne Evrope, ki prihajajo iz različnih organizacij in ustvarjalnih sektorjev, vendar jim je skupno aktivno udejstvovanje v mednarodnem prostoru, so z nami delili svoje bogate izkušnje in poglede.
