The Library Association of Primorska and Notranjska brings together professionals from the western and south western part of Slovenia and the cross-border Slovene minorities in Italy.

Membership and activities

The majority of its members work in public libraries, elementary schools, secondary schools, high school libraries, and special libraries throughout the region. The association organises lectures, seminars, meetings, and excursions and engages in some publishing activities to stimulate development of librarianship theory and practice. The association is a member of the Slovenian Library Association.
