Ampak, a monthly illustrated magazine for culture, politics and economy (ampak meaning 'but'), has been published by Nova Revija since July 2000 with a print-run of 3,500. Its main aim is to offer a critical approach to issues of modern society.
Ampak magazine offers sections on Reflections, History and Personalities as well as Culture, Politics and Economy. Its articles comment on current politics and economy, cultural history, sociology of culture and ideologies, media, language, arts, and literature. It also contains reviews of performances, exhibitions, and new books.
The Table of Contents page of every issue of Ampak since its inception, in addition to portions of selected articles (in Slovenian), are available on the Internet.
The magazine ceased publication in 2010.
