| + | Opened in [[established::2012]], the [[Ljutomer Trotter Museum]] is dedicated to the history and development of harness racing and to the ''ljutomerski kasač'' (Ljutomer trotter) thoroughbred, a horse breed of oriental origin dating back to the 18th century. In 1875, the Ljutomer Trotter Club was established, which makes it one of the oldest in Europe. The museum is situated within the club's premises, in the vicinity of the stables and racecourses. It includes an old hand-made racing cart from 1899, trophies and awards, as well as documentary material selected from over 3,000 collected photographs and 140 museum artefacts (in collaboration with the Historical Archives Ptuj).
