Since the very beginning the unit has covered all music genres: rock, pop, folk music, jazz, classical music, opera, ballet, and chanson. In the former Yugoslavia it was one of the most powerful publishing groups in the 1970s and 1980s. In the last couple of years it is has been directly connected with radio and TV programmes in the sense of promoting recovering and publishing precious audio and video archives and supporting new projects. | ||

Background
For almost 40 years the Discography Unit has been producing, publishing and distributing audio programmes, over 20 years ago video programmes joined the musical editions. Since the very beginning the unit has covered all music genres: rock, pop, folk music, jazz, classical music, opera, ballet, and chanson. In the former Yugoslavia it was one of the most powerful publishing groups in the 1970s and 1980s. In the last couple of years it is has been directly connected with radio and TV programmes in the sense of promoting recovering and publishing precious audio and video archives and supporting new projects.
