Krka is one of the top generic pharmaceutical companies in Europe. Some of Krka's donations and sponsorship goes to projects relating to arts and culture. It also has its own art collection which includes works by Slovene impressionist painters from the beginning of the 20th century, oil paintings by Vladimir Lamut, graphic art works by Božidar Jakac, works by Slovene artists from the period between the two wars and some post-war graphics works. It also comprises a number of works by contemporary artists from South Eastern Slovenia.
