The Youth Centre for Cultural Activities Maribor (MKC) was established in 1993 by the Municipality of Maribor. It is a public institution, designed to stimulate, develop, and mediate the activities of young people in the field of arts. MKC's activities include computer and new media art, literature, theatre and dance arts, visual arts, video, film and photography, music, non-profit management and production. Its most important and oldest projects are the No Border Jam Festival and the International Festival of Computer Arts (IFCA).
