All submitted works are first reviewed by a national jury comprised of award winners of the previous biennial. The selected entries are shown at the exhibition, accompanied by a catalogue, and assessed by an international jury, whose members present their own work in a series of lectures and an exhibition called the International Design Event. The Brumen Award and Special Acknowledgements are granted to the best works in individual categories. The 4th Biennial took place in the National Gallery of Slovenia in October 2009, offering a critical overview of Slovenian design in the previous two years. |
