The recipients of the 2008 Golden Bird Awards were: Vesna Lemaić for literature, Daša Doberšek for performing arts, Luka Juhart for music, Mark Požlep for visual arts, and Marko Naberšnik for film.
Since 2005, the jury also awards the Golden Nest Award, aimed at encouraging the creation of production conditions that enhance the very creativity.
