History
Its founder was the Historical Society of Southern Primorska, Koper. In 1994 the Science and Research Centre of Koper (SRC Koper) was set up; it began to operate in 1996 and since then the Annales Publishing House is its infrastructural unit.

The Annales Publishing House mediates achievements in scientific research to the wider public and is therefore indispensable at any level of scientific and research activity. Its publications are listed in the specialised international databases (citation indices); the Annales Journal is especially quoted high.
