The Library Association of Koroška unites librarians from the Carinthian region. The first library association in this region was established within the Slovenian Library Association in 1959; it has organised activities under its present name since 1991. Current membership (as of 2009) stands at 45, including 26 librarians from the public libraries and 9 librarians from school libraries. The association is a voluntary organisation, its aim being to stimulate discussion and the exchange of experience. An excursion to other libraries in Slovenia is organised annually for its members.

The Library Association of Koroška is a member of the Slovenian Library Association.
