It cooperates with the Museum Documentation Association (UK) and uses ICOM-CIDOC and SPECTRUM standards for archival activities and digitisation processes. The museum's publications and the Etnolog (Ethnologist) Journal, the SEMnovice newsletter and a variety of other works dealing with museum collections are available to the public in the reading room.
