The sextet of clarinets is a unique ensemble in Slovenia as it comprises Slovenia's third generation of musicians, who play a wide range of wind instruments including the standard orchestral B flat and A clarinets, alto clarinet, basset horn, the smaller E flat clarinet, and the largest bass and contrabass clarinets. The group is currently led by the clarinettist of the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra, professor at the Academy of Music and member of the Ariart Woodwind Quintet, Jože Kotar. Discography
The Discography Unit, RTV Slovenia released a CD entitled Family containing the sextet's performances of works by Raymond Loucheur and Marc Eychenne among others.
