[[The Last Contemporary Art Museum]] was opened in July [[established::2015]] in the 200 year old house in the village of Logje, in the westernmost part of Slovenia. Here lived the grandmother of sculptor [[Damijan Kracina]] who decided to rearrange the house according to a principle of ''cabinets of curiosities'' of ''Wunderkammer'', the Renaissance precursors to museums. This is not a coincidence, but a clear-cut serendipity: Kracina's sculptures, graphic art and video often tackle a biotic diversity of animal world, and an ambiental setting off the beaten track is a perfect site for the afterlife of objects.
