Special databases
The online database eKumba thus includes information on several collections of special interest. Some of these contain materials that have been collected since 1946 when the Academy of Acting (predecessor of the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television (AGRFT)) was established. The oldest is the collection that includes materials about the artistic, research and pedagogical work of the AGRFT, from essays to doctoral dissertations, manuscripts, sketches of sets and costumes, photographs, etc. One of the oldest is also the collection that preserves documents on Slovene partisan theatres during the Second World War.
Yet another is the collection that collects materials on Slovene, European, and world theatre and cinema. It offers access to the online Academy's catalogue of recorded sounds, a library of film and video materials, as well as theatre and film reviews, newspaper clippings, posters and photographs.
