Founded in 1997, the Ars Ramovš Institute for Art, Marketing, Promotion and Investment organises the SEVIQC Brežice Festival, an international early music festival which features eminent guests. Since 1982 the Festival (first called Brežice festival) has developed into an eminent European music event, with a significant educational dimension (working with music academies) and international scope (partner countries since 2002 were Italy, UK, Netherlands, Czech Republic, EU, France, Italy and Spain). The concerts take place at numerous castles, in churches or museums, promoting Slovene cultural heritage. Today the festival is consists of several interrelated smaller festivals spreading over south Slovenia: Festival Brežice, Klasikaa Dolenjska, Klasikaa Postojna, Klasikaa Slovenija and Voci dal ghetto (Trieste). The programme is available at the website. Ars Ramovš has succeeded to draw funding from national and municipal funds as well as from numerous sponsors, donators and also Culture 2000 funds.
