Kaja Brezočnik Zmajevska is a free-lance photographer who studied visual communication at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design (ALUO) in Ljubljana. Since 2010 she has been working as an art and documentary photographer.
She is engaged as an in-house photographer at the Kino Šiška Centre for Urban Culture.
She has participated in several solo and group photography exhibitions, and presented her opus at Jakopič Gallery in Ljubljana, Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Koroška in Slovenj Gradec, Obalne galerije - Coastal Galleries in Piran, Fluss Gallery and Photon Gallery (Vienna, Austria), and Schiffahrtmuseum, (Flensburg, Germany). She has been awarded several times for her work.
