Goga Publishing House was established in December 1998 and it published its first book in January 2000. Goga is involved in a wide specter of activities, from publishing Slovene and foreign works, audio CDs, journals to organizing different cultural events. Goga is also a part of HALMA international literary network exchange organization. In 2000 Goga Bookstore was opened in Novo mesto, a venue for musical, cultural, literary and other events.


Literature publishing programme

Goga's literature publishing programme aims to give new perspectives on local literature, as well as on work in translation. Goga is interested in first-class literature related to current topics. Rast, a quarterly review for literature, culture and social issues, is published by Goga in collaboration with Municipality of Novo mesto, and Park Magazine, whose chief aim is to raise awareness of sociopolitical, regional and cultural questions.

Music

Goga also publishes audio CDs in the music collection GOGAMusica. Jazz, ethno, folk and other genres may be found in the collection.
