Past projects
During the years the club became an important venue at the LGBTIQ scene and was soon proclaimed as the "anti-stress for the sexual minorities". In the past, the Monokel anti-stress therapy included photo exhibitions (by Ivanka Apostolova, Mojca Pišek, ...); theatre plays and performances (by Bridge Markland, Monosexual Theatre, etc.); workshops and talks and book presentations (by Suzana Tratnik, Nicole Brossard, ...).
Collaborations
The venue regularly hosts events of the International Feminist and Queer Festival Red Dawns. In 2011 it hosted a performance and site specific installation Blow Job by Inga Cholmogorova, themed events (Lesbian Vampires, dr. Ljuba Prenner night, ...), and a DJ duo Miće Mace from Rijeka, Croatia.
