The Radovljica Municipality Museums carry out public services in the fields of ethnology, history, art, arts and crafts. The main tasks are gathering, storage, preservation, documentation, teaching, and mediation of mobile cultural heritage. The network also engages in rich publishing activities including exhibition catalogues and monographic publications.

The term vigenjc – denoting a nail-smithy – is a rare word that was only used in Kropa and a couple of neighbouring settlements. During the 19th century Kropa had 19 such establishments, each of them having their own name. This is the only remaining one, named Vice.
