Along with the Photon Gallery, the Galerija Fotografija ("Photography Gallery") is one of two private galleries specialised in photography in Ljubljana. Established in 2003 and located in the first floor of the medieval house in the old Ljubljana centre, the gallery popularises high-quality photography of established Slovene and international authors. In addition to annual exhibitions the gallery also organises lectures, screenings of master photographers, and project presentations. The gallery entered the international art market in 2009, participating in the Viennafair, and since 2010 in the Paris Photo fair.
