As successor to the Soros Center for Contemporary Arts (1993-1999) the SCCA-Ljubljana Centre for Contemporary Arts has collected a rich collection of catalogues and periodicals from the region of Central and Eastern Europe and Asia.

It gives special attention to new media and video art. The library holds a lot of publications from the regions of Central and Eastern Europe as well as Asia. The library also incorporates a videotheque, based in the SCCA-Ljubljana's ''[[Videodokument]]'' documentation project. The titles of the library collection are also available online. It is also possible to borrow material to work at home.
