Archival article
In 2009 the first Slovenia Press Photo Festival (SPP) took place in the National Gallery of Slovenia. In 2010 it moved to Cankarjev dom, Cultural and Congress Centre and the 2013 edition takes place in Museum of Architecture and Design. This competitive festival was established by the SPP Institute for Promotion of Photography in order to promote press and documentary photography in Slovenia.
With winners selected by an international jury, the national level competition concludes with an exhibition of the awarded works.
