The Association for Transformation of Social Communication (PIFF) was established in 2004 as the organiser of the Politically Incorrect Film Festival (PI-FF). The 4th festival of 2006, organised under the theme "Art and Work", was presented not only in Ljubljana (Tovarna Rog) but also in Maribor in collaboration with the Pekarna Magdalena Network. The association also organises the DokMa International Film Festival in Maribor.
Together with the European network of film associations Nisi Masa, in 2009 the Association PIFF co-organised an open call for scripts for short films based on the topic of taboo.
