The Association of Slovene Festivals (SloFA) was established in June 2000 by four founding festivals – Seviqc Brežice Festival, Ljubljana Festival, Lent Festival, and Primorska Summer Festival, Koper-Capodistria.
The contract obliges the four festivals to exchange experience, promote stronger joint performances at home and abroad, encourage investment in culture by Slovene artists abroad and promote international cooperation. The Association of Slovene Festivals is open to other festivals that feature mainly professional artists.
Culture.si offers information on Slovene cultural producers, venues, festivals and support services, all in one place. It encourages international cultural exchange in the fields of arts, culture and heritage. The portal and its content is owned and funded by the Ministry of Culture, funded by the European Union Recovery and Resilience Plan and developed by Ljudmila Art and Science Laboratory.
