In July 2010 the Culture360 team organised a strategic partnership meeting of 16 experts in Singapore, to explore how culture360.org can effectively respond to the needs of civil societies and governments as well as the use of social media in engaging them. Žiga Kranjec, the developer from Ljudmila Art and Science Laboratory, was invited to present the Culture.si portal.
Creative Encounters project in Slovenia
In 2015, Curating-In-Depth, a series of lectures and workshops on contemporary curatorial practice for emerging artists, critics and curators from Slovenia, the Philippines and Croatia , takes place first in Ljubljana then in the Philippines. The project via Asia-Europe non-governmental institutional collaborations confronts challenges in the field of curating and mediating the arts. Project partners SCCA-Ljubljana Centre for Contemporary Arts and Philippines based art center Planting Rice, with the support of Croatian arts platform Kurziv won the Creative Encounters grant.
