Contemporary Slovene Portrait, a photo exhibition joining 13 Slovene artists, co-organised by Fotografija, Magazine on Photography and Ena Rola Filma, in the framework of the Month of Photography Lisbon,
Contents
Each number of the magazine features various themes offered to its readers within up to 12 chapters of different genres from the interview, exhibition and books reviews through theory and essay to short story that covers different kind of photography as fashion, digital, documentary, journalism photography. It features also topics about the Slovene photography and the history of photography. It also provides information about photography trainings or copyright issues.
Public discussions
In May 2010, the Fotografija magazine produced a series of free public discussions about the wider issues on the field of photography called Photography on a Sofa [Fotografija na kavču]. Eleven talks between two experts from various fields took place from 7 to 17 May at Kino Šiška Centre for Urban Culture, including such events as Jože Vogrinc and Jure Eržen speaking about "War and media", Rajko Bizjak and Teo Rižnar on the theme of "Optics, chemistry and electronics", Urša Chitrakar and Željko Stevanić discussing "Copyright and photography", and Lev Kreft and Vuk Ćosić adressing "New media".
