Ravnikar-Potokar Architecture Bureau was founded in 2003 by architects Vojteh Ravnikar (1943–2010) and Robert Potokar, who had worked under KARS Ltd in Sežana and ARHE Ljubljana Ltd before going independent. From 2003 to September 2010 the team has consisted of the two founding architects and architects: Tanja Košuta, Maja Slapernik, Blaž Budja, Sabina Colnar, Petra Slukan, Janez Brežnik, Marko Tul and Marjan Starič as well as Nada Šerbelj, Barbara Djordjević, Fakhrur Mohamad Rozi, Javier Carrera Arias and Staša Gaber.

In collaboration with other experts the studio has tackled complex and large projects, working on exterior design as well as interior design and urban planning.

Most recent projects have included the Bežigrajski dvor Governmental building (2007) and the Senior Citizens' Centre at Trnovo, Ljubljana (2007) as well as the Vila Mon Repos at the IEDC MBA School in Bled (2008).

Larger common projects realised by Ravnikar-Potokar include the Mandrač business and residential centre in Koper-Capodistria (1996), IEDC MBA School in Bled (1999-2000), the new Brinje School in Grosuplje (1998–2000), France Bevk Public Library Nova Gorica (1998–2000), Papirografika, Ljubljana (1998–1999), Imos, Ljubljana (1999–2000), Masarykova F1, Ljubljana (2000–2003), Sežana Secondary School Sports Hall (2002–2003), the Secondary Medical School in Celje (2004–2005), Šalara business and residental centre in Koper-Capodistria (2004–2005) and Masarykova F2 in Ljubljana (2006–2007).
