Analiza deals with analytical philosophy, which has a long tradition in Slovenia. Taking a rational, argumentative approach to philosophical problems, the journal provides a place for dialogue among different branches of philosophy.

While the goal of Acta Analytica is to present the Slovene philosophical production abroad, Analiza is mainly aimed at the Slovene public. It was established by the Society for Analytical Philosophy and the Philosophy of Science in 1997. Since 2007, it has been published by the Aristej Publishing House.
