Indeed in the end of 2010 the [[City Museum and Galleries of Ljubljana]] are planning some changes: the space of the City Gallery on Cankarjevo nabrežje 11/1 will be closed, but the new house of 350m2 in the complex of Tobacco factory will open. The smaller part of the house is going to present the collection of the Tobacco Museum Collection, the huger part will be the space for presentations of contemporary art projects. The house will also offer the very first artist residency in Ljubljana, where approximately 4 foreign artists per year is going to be chosen after the public call is going to be published. Beside the [[AIR CELEIA]] - the artist-in-residence programme in Celje, such residency in Ljubljana will be the second possibility for foreign artists and curators to come gathering inspirations, knowledge and contacts in Slovenia.
