STA is a limited liability company, majority owned (96 per cent) by the state. It is a member of the European Association of News Agencies (EANA), and exchanges reports with the following press agencies: APA, ANSA, HINA, TANJUG, MTI, DPA, AFP, AP, IRNA, ATA, TASR, ITAR-TASS, Xinhua, MIA, MAKFAX and MINA. Issued since September 2004 by the Government Communication Office, Slovenia News is a weekly newsletter which covers politics, environment, culture, business, science and sports. Online versions of previous issues of Slovenia News (published by STA, Government Public Relations and Media Office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs 2002–2004), are still available online.
Misli slovensko - Think Slovenian website – focus on arts and culture
In 2010 the Slovene Press Agency launched the new website called Misli slovensko - Think Slovenian featuring selected contents on arts and culture (Slovenia, Interviews, World Book Capital 2010 , Language Corner, Statistics, etc), partly in English. The project is co-funded by the Ministry of Culture.
